DESCRIPTION:Depression can affect anyone - one out of every 17 people have experienced depression. And approximately two million American teenagers suffer from severe depression - possibly someone you know. Depression is not something you can just snap out of. Christi Wolesky\, D.A.W.N. Project coordinator\, and Kate Schak\, M.D.\, adolescent psychiatrist at Austin Medical Center\, will present valuable information about depression and wellness\, as well as show an informational video and provide time for questions and answers.\n\n\n\n?All parents of adolescents\, and adults who work with adolescents\, can benefit from attending this seminar\,? says Wolesky. ?It?s important to know the symptoms\, warning signs\, and potential causes of depression so you can reach out to your child or other children and get them treatment if needed right away. There is help available\, and we can help you figure out how to get it.?
