Freedom Fest Art Show Reception

The Austin Area Art Center, located in the Oak Park Mall, proudly presents the 2011 Freedom Fest Art Show.  This annual competition, open to all area artists, offers 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes for professional, pro-am, and amateur divisions.  Their is always a wide variety of art at this show ranging from oil and acrylic paintings to drawings, watercolors, photography and sculpture.  Many of the pieces are Austin themed and compete for the City Purchase Award, sponsored by the City Council (the official presentation for that award will be held July 4th on the Bandshell).  The reception and awards ceremony for he Freedom Fest Art Show will be held on Sunday, July 3 from 1:00-4:00 pm at the Art Center gallery.  Come enjoy art, meet the artists, and have some refreshments.
