Lunchbox History Series - Gordon Fredrickson
Bring a sack lunch to MCHS and enjoy a history presentation over your noon hour! The presenation will feature a different speaker each month and run from 12 to 1 PM.
Our June speaker is author Gordon Fredrickson. Gordon, a retired high school English teacher, has written ten children’s books since 2000 that portray the story of the family farm in the year 1950.
Gordon grew up on a 120 acre dairy farm in Scott County. His presentations include pictures of the past and colorful illustrations from his books. Gordon’s goal is to “write books that help bring the local farm heritage to life.”
This program is suitable for all ages. Admission is free but donations are accepted. The author will be selling his books after the program.
