Mower County Historical Society's Annual Meeting

The Mower County Historical Society invites its members and the public to attend their Annual Meeting at the Hormel Historic Home on Thursday, November 4 at 6 PM. Tickets are $12 per person and RSVPs must be made at the historical society by Friday, October 29. Attendees do not have to be members of the society to attend. The night will include a business meeting, catered dinner, door prizes, and a guest speaker. Guest speaker for this event will be author and historian Michael Eckers. Mr. Eckers will give a presentation on Minnesota?s involvement in the Civil War. He has written two books on the subject, Northern Colors and The Boys of Wasioja.
