The Hormel Institute's 2nd annual "Walk for a Cancer Free World"
“WALK FOR A CANCER FREE WORLD” is a “for everyone” event and Uncle Sam wants YOU to show your support of research leading to a world free of cancer. Last year, the first “Walk for a Cancer Free World” drew over 250 participants. Bring your friends and family this year to enjoy the walk’s easy and fun 4-mile route from The Hormel Institute to Bandshell Park, showing your support for a cancer-free world. Along the way, learn about The Hormel Institute’s cutting-edge cancer research, plans for a major expansion and how community partners help support the Institute’s work against this devastating disease.
REGISTRATION SITE: In advance - Austin Chamber of Commerce, 329 N. Main St.; Same day - The Hormel Institute, 801 16th Ave. N.E. from 5:00 - 5:30 PM.
