Assistant Women's Basketball Coach (Part-Time)

This is a part-time, credit-based position. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Riverland Community College, a member of the Minnesota State system and the Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC), seeks a part-time Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach. This position supports the Head Coach in developing and administering all aspects of the women’s basketball program, including practice, competition, recruitment, and student-athlete support.

Salary Range

Compensation is based on experience and qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• One (1) year basketball coaching experience OR three (3) years of basketball playing experience.

Preferred Qualification 

• Associate’s degree or higher.

• One (1) year basketball coaching experience.

• Two (2) to four (4) years of college-level basketball playing experience.

• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

• Bilingual/multilingual fluent in Spanish, Karen, Karenni, Somali, Pohnpeian, French, Nuer, Anuak, or other languages that reflect our student body, workforce, and communities.

• Demonstrated experience working with multicultural and underserved populations.
