About Us
We Serve! The Austin Noon Lions Club has been a proud, driving force of community service and humanitarian aid in Austin, MN, since our founding in 1944. As part of Lions Clubs International—the world's largest service organization—our club is dedicated to improving the quality of life locally and globally. We bring together civic-minded individuals to foster volunteerism, build lasting fellowships, and address critical community needs with hands-on support. Our impactful local initiatives include collecting and recycling used eyeglasses, building and maintaining the iconic covered bridge at the Jay C. Hormel Nature Center, and sponsoring the Lions District Peace Poster Project. We raise vital project funds through annual traditions like our community Pancake Day, high school football concession stands, and White Cane Day. These efforts directly support the Lions Eye Bank, Camp Winnebago, local youth sports, Salvation Army programs, and Riverland Community College scholarships.
