About Us
The Austin Salvation Army has been serving Mower County for 125 years. We have 3 locations - Corps Building, Thrift Store, Donation Center. Our Corps building contains our Church, Social Service Office, Youth Office and Business Office. We offer many programs to our community such as Rent Assistance, Utility Assistance, Gas cards for out of town medical appointments, Food Shelf, Free Shelf, Community Meal, Woman's Group, Men's Group, Church Services, Character Building, Day Camp, Bible Study - all which are free of charge. Our Thrift Store contains aisles of household items, books, outdoor items, knick knacks, cookware, glassware, clothing, antiques, shoes, purses, jewelry, belts, ties, socks, undergarments, linens, furniture, repurposed box springs and mattresses, wall décor, toys, puzzles, games, electronics, seasonal items, outdoor items - all items are sold in good used condition.
